A finish and a couple beginnings

Welcome! to the folks who have come over from the KLCC radio piece that ran Monday, October 24. Our adventures with the artist Patrick Dougherty are recounted in a series of posts here, here, here, here, here, and our most recent visit below. Thanks for visiting!

I think it's done, folks.

We went to the site today after the farmers market and no one was there. The scaffolding was all broken down and ready for pick-up. The park was quiet and clean.

And nine new creations stood ready to be roamed, photographed, touched and admired.

Looking forward to the radio piece on Monday.

Meanwhile, downtown...

A couple new ventures began. Our friend Sonia opened her yarn shop, Stash, last week. It's a fabulous shop with beautiful yarn and so much more.

The products she carries are sourced from around the Pacific Northwest. And as of today, she'll be selling something of mine, a series of five art photography prints called The Feather and the Egg.

The set will also be available through my shop, and I will do an official post about them when they're up there in a day or two. Just wanted to send out a little sneak peak 'cause I'm pretty excited.
