Birthday dinner

Enjoyed a late afternoon drive yesterday up to Falls City to celebrate Gramma C's birthday.

We took the long way while it was still light out. Jeff spotted an owl on a telephone pole. The fog hugged the hills and sat on the fields. Roadside brush had lost its leaves but was covered in red berries.



In Falls City, The Bread Board was warm and decked for the season. We ate inside this time, but recalled our visit last summer.



To eat: margherita, spinach salad, and a big piece of chocolate cake with 5 forks.
