Ripe

Made it out to the fields today with a bunch of friends.



Will I be at the potluck tomorrow? Only time will tell.



I bet there will be a lot of strawberry dishes this time. No complaints.

perhaps you already know about this, but a blogging friend shared a tip last year during strawberry season. save all the tops of those strawberries you're hulling, put them in a large jar filled with vinegar. let steep for a few days. stain vinegar off berry tops, bring vinegar to a boil, add some sugar, let cool. store in a fridge. make strawberry vinegarette. enjoy.
