Friday, the last day of Autumn Color Week, is red.



Them's hikin' shoes. That's right. The official garb of casual hikers in these parts. Cool kicks with Velcro closures and slouchy knee highs.



I promise I picked these yesterday evening! October 1st raspberries... almost 2 cups! So so yummy. I had to fight the chickens for them. Good thing they can't jump too high!



And a bit of red this morning on my way to let out the chickens.



Still in pj's. Before coffee and oatmeal. Wet and chilly.

And I'm not the only one seeing red.
