I baked up Molly's Apple Tart Cake the other night.

Totally, completely delicious.

You should make one too.

It's sweet, (less so if you decrease the sugar and use a more tart apple,) and chewy. The apples retain their shape but become so soft and the dough/crust caramelizes quite a bit. I feared it wouldn't be the substantial piece of cake I was hunkering for, but it was perfect. And you can always have a second slice. I know I did.

Note: This has now been made twice. Definitely a repeat treat. Guess I'm going to have to buy my own spring-form pan and make this a regular thing.
