MILK & TEA

Today is the International Tea Party hosted by Risa.

Calder and I wanted to join in and share a nice moment with you all. There's only one tea drinker between the two of us, but no one will be thirsty here.

First I made the tea, Mother's Milk for the nursing mama in the house.

Then while it steeped - see it there on the shelf in front of the water bottle? - the boy had his breakfast.

And finally, after it cooled off, Calder was fed, and I was good and thirsty, I drank it down.

It was a quiet tea party. The boy and I watched one another, exchanging smiles in between sips.

Thank you, Risa, for hosting. I imagine there will be a tiny tot tea set present at our house the next time around. Imaginary tea and treats for everyone!
