WINTER WALK

We took ourselves on a great winter walk the other day up at Bald Hill. The temperatures were still below zero so there was still snow in the trees and on the trail. It was so nice to be walking amongst the oaks with snow still on their branches and a beautiful, clear blue winter sky above.

Calder had a meltdown about a third of the way out, but instead of turning back I elected to hike and feed. It's not hard to do, and it calmed him down quick, but after a while my arms were mighty tired. It was an easy switch back into the Bjorn once he fell asleep. And we were glad to have had a good walk around our winter world with our little boy.
