Happy Halloween from the sweetest

Man, I flippin' love these boys. All three of them.

Calder was a Space Cat.

What's that you say?

He was inspired by something he saw in my/his copy of Richard Scarry's Best Storybook Ever. We painted the glow-in-the-dark space stuff on some long underwear, made a jet pack, already had the perfect hat, and scribbled on some face paint just before heading out the door.

Lake was the sweetest, most tired, happy, chubby mummy ever.

We celebrated at the potluck-birthday party of a little friend then tricked-and-treated our way home.

A couple prized candies were saved for tomorrow and the rest has been offered up to the Toothless Gnome. He's a mythical guy who lives in the big park by the river. Every Halloween night he goes around the neighborhood trading the candy that the kids leave out for him for some sort of cool treat.

I happened to notice he's already been to our house and left a couple pink yard flamingos for Calder. What a guy!

Jeff and I watched a silly movie tonight. Now it's time for bed. Hope your Halloween night was short on tricks and long on treats!
