MORE SUMMER FUN
Well, we couldn't stop. The sun and our familiarity with being on the road had us back out at one of Calder's new favorite destinations... the beach. With Aunt Julie ("Judy" as she's known by Calder) in tow we returned to Otter Rock for more time in the water. This time it was even "warm" enough to stand in.
We followed up our beach time with dinner at Local Ocean. Julie remarked that her fish and chips were possibly the best she's had. Jeff was underwhelmed with the amount of crab on his po'boy. And I enjoyed the batter-fried oysters, though I may have preferred some less meaty (read: ooey-gooey) clams. Still, I'd eat there again for sure.
