FROM OUR GARDEN and I COOKED BEANS



Garlic whips!



Rainbow chard! (The cats didn't eat it. They were just curious. They're cats.)



Pintos (garbanzos too)... soaked... cooked... stored (8 cups of each in the freezer ready to eat at a moment's notice.)

And they came out just fine. Not mealy or undercooked. Yay!

*These were not from our garden, but I was influenced to start cooking/freezing beans after reading info about possible BPA contamination of canned food.



The boy enjoying his tea and muffin. We've had some rough times the past day or two. Lots of coughing and post-nasal yuck. But he's feeling better. I can just tell.
