Taking a cue from Stephanie I attempted homemade Veggie Booty. Oven-dried kale was simple to do. Just 15 minutes at 350F. When you remove the leaves from the oven you should be able to crumble them. The stems and veins won't crumble, though.

I then pulverized the crumbled kale with a morter and pestle until I was left with a couple tablespoons of fine, dark green powder.

I dressed the big bowl of popcorn with butter, nutritional yeast, salt and kale powder. Unfortunately, the popcorn turned out chewy, but I think it was the corn and not the toppings. Calder and the rest of his babe buddies ate it all up.
