Kite
Was it a week ago? Today feels like Saturday. Happy 4th everyone!
Out to Lincoln City to check out the Summer Kite Festival.
Too long ago to remember if I've ever been before. I've definitely seen plenty of kites on the beaches in Oregon. There's almost always a breeze.
On this day it was surprisingly nice out. The kites flew easily. It wasn't too windy. The sun was bright and shining. The clouds stayed well off shore. The sky was ridiculously blue.
Jen's kite got tangled in one of the big ones. Oh, you should have heard the "professional" yelling at us to get our kite out of his line. Ooo-wheee! Serious stuff.
The tide coming in served up plenty of treasure.
And I even brought a new kite back home.
