Yesterday+Today

A simple, fun weekend up in Portland ended with Sunday morning coffee from Stumptown enjoyed next door in the lobby of the Ace.





Well, looks like there was more than coffee to be had... a rainbow sprinkle donut ala Voodoo (via Stumptown.)

The lobby seating area was pretty much full, and from what I could tell it was all Portlanders lounging in the comfort of the couches, the NYT and Nick Cave over the stereo.

Today, we spent a balmy afternoon in the yard cutting back the dead and peeking for the new green shoots while the chickens enjoyed a dustbath in the dry dirt against the house and a chance to snag a worm or two in the freshly disturbed earth.
