PRETTY SURE IT'S NORMAL

Neighborhood friends hosted a private party with Santa Claus last night at their restaurant. Santa came in Ho Ho Ho-ing and looking just jolly. The bigger kids ran up and gave him huge hugs. It was so cute to see. He had presents for each little one that were handed out amidst a flury of picture-taking. When Calder's name was called, well you can probably guess how things went down...

yeah, i'd say at the very least you've got one more year of these kind of santa pictures...possibly two or three :) these are good photos for the baby book...

i think this was the first year lena actually enjoyed sitting on santa's lap.

Oh yes, we skipped my son's first Christmas but when he was 1.5 we tried to get him to sit on Santa's lap but he wanted nothing to do with Santa and wanted to get into the firetruck instead (SF firefighters do Santa at the SF Zoo for donations). Last year we happened across an office Santa leaving the Fairmont and my son wanted to say hello but not have Santa touch him. Guess that's good, not wanting a stranger to hold him, overall.
