GATHERING TOGETHER FARM'S PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

Last Sunday six families from our neighborhood had a great time at Gathering Together Farm's annual Pumpkin Festival. It was a beautiful day, just right for picking and posing with pumpkins. The pulled pork sandwiches, hot coffee and potato donuts were an added bonus on top of all the natural loveliness.

Calder held on tight as we rode the old farm truck out to the patch.

The light was so beautiful on the straw. I may buy a couple bales to use as mulch or path padding just to have the golden color around.

Our pumpkin family - admittedly still rolling around in the back of the car. They'll be out in time for carving and display on Halloween.
